LUKOIL BECOMES OFFICIAL MANUFACTURER OF LUBRICANTS FOR GERMAN STIHL BRAND

LLK-International (a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL) has won a tender on lubricants supplies in Russia for STIHL, a world leader in chainsaw sales for the last 50 years. As part of the competition, LUKOIL has developed an exclusive formulation for a chainsaw lubricant, which was highly appreciated by the client.LUKOIL has developed a unique formulation of chain oil with the use of high-tech Group II base oils of its own production and an exclusive additive package. Due to efficient composition of components, chain lubricant for STIHL chainsaws created by LUKOIL demonstrated high anti-oxidation, low-temperature and anti-wear properties during field and lab tests conducted for eight months. Upon completion of the trials, LUKOIL new product demonstrated better wear protection compared to its competitors by an average of 40%.
The first supplies of chain oils to STIHL in Russia carried out in the second quarter of 2021. In the next stage of R&D cooperation, the partners plan a joint development of special lubricants for STIHL small-size equipment.
