LUKOIL ENGINE OIL RECEIVES APPROVAL FROM VOLKSWAGEN

LLK-International (a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL) has received an approval from Volkswagen in accordance to the car manufacturer’s modern specification for its newest gasoline and diesel engines. LUKOIL GENESIS SPECIAL VN 0W-20 engine oil became the company’s first product which confirmed its correspondence to the requirements of VW 508 00 / 509 00 specification.
LUKOIL GENESIS SPECIAL VN 0W-20 all-season synthetic engine oil created by the Company with the use of its own innovative technologies and high-tech base oils in a combination with high efficient additive package. The product is manufactured in accordance to the requirements of АСЕА С5 standard of European Automobile Manufacturers' Association.
Lubricants of this class are characterized by lower sulfated ash and lower HTHS (high temperature high shear). Due to HTHS indicator, fuel economy of up to 4% becomes the core advantage of LUKOIL low-viscosity engine oil. In addition, the product has improved low temperature properties and extended drain interval.
Overall, the engine oil has passed over 30 different Volkswagen and АСЕА tests, which demonstrated its excellent technical characteristics. The product is approved for use in gasoline and diesel engines of Volkswagen and Audi cars subject to the requirement of VW 508 00 / 509 00 specification. This engine oil is not backwards compatible and consequently can’t be used for engines requiring lubricants with 505 01 and 504 00 / 507 00 specifications.
